JSRM was founded in May 2001 by reorganizing its predecessor, the Study
Group for Cell Therapy. The aim of JSRM is to promote research, clinical
care, and advocacy in regenerative medicine. JSRM has sponsored its annual
meeting and has published Saisei-iryo (Regenerative Medicine), the official
journal of JSRM. Currently, JSRM has approximately 3,100 members.
